For the first time in 6 years I’m back on #GranCanaria馃嚠馃嚚. We got a house in the middle of nowhere at the end of a long gravel road but directly at the seaside. At high tide the water is literally 5m away from our doorstep. Ziggy馃惗 loves roaming around, the wifi and weather is (mostly) great and @zoeclares managed to finish her PADI Open Water in the first week, so we even got to dive the marine reserve El Cabron. I’ve already seen more angel sharks on her training dives than in ~100 dives here back in the day as well as baby octopuses and massive rays 馃コ And of course we’ve done some hiking up Roque Nublo and a Via Ferrata near the Mirador Astron贸mico de la Degollada de las Yeguas, watched an amazing sunset at Pico de las Nieves (that even got an applause?!), drove to the Mirador del Balc贸n and the sketchy GC-606, saw the Maspalomas dunes, rode the yellow submarine and had dinner in GC’s Venice, Puerto de Mog谩n. On the last few days of the year I got some #paragliding in, the first flights since I sort of switched to skydiving in May 2022 馃獋 #beatles #dec2023
